Most meaningful oyster: My most "meaningful oyster" would probably be a Holy Grail from the Chesapeake. It was the first oyster that I hurt myself shucking, and from then on, I learned to pay attention and respect the oyster.

Favorite oyster: One of my favorite local oysters to shuck would be sweet Amalia oysters. Very uniformed, high energy waters, beautiful plump deep cups with amazing meat to shell ratio.
Dream destination: I would love to get up to PEI and check out the Canadian Maritimes. Pickle Point Oysters are one of my favorite to date.
What do you love about OMG? My favorite thing about being a OMGuild member is that you never feel alone in the oyster community. I love what I do and so does everyone else! I would love to travel more with the Guild and teach people how to shuck. I plan to continue this journey until I reach the Mastery level.
